Palace Confidential says the Diana Award gala has been cancelled. It was apparently Harry's turn after William did an event earlier this year, which would explain why their spokesperson said Harry and Meghan would not attend. My guess is they did not want her there and he refused to come at all. The people who paid for tickets and outfits are the ones left out of pocket. Tone rewrite only.
