This has gone beyond a fandom war. There have been repeated threats against Taehyung, including threats of acid attacks, alongside misinformation, targeting, and harassment using ships as an excuse to attack him. We held back for days to focus on streaming and the Layover anniversary, but that restraint isn't acceptance. Nothing justifies wishing death or violence on him, threatening him, spreading lies about him, or weaponizing ships to harass him. We will not ignore this or stay silent. His safety, dignity, and protection come first, and we will keep speaking up when he's threatened.
