I want to flag that the DataRepublican account, consistently boosted by Elon Musk and the platform algorithm, was exposed as being run by a Pentagon employee while posing as an independent citizen journalist. The account's 'scoops' were reportedly just info dumps handed to it by the Trump administration, not original reporting. Matt Taibbi, who built his reputation on exposing the Twitter Files, hasn't said a word about the administration and Musk apparently using a fake grassroots account to launder their talking points as independent journalism. That silence deserves scrutiny.
