Apple's first foldable costs $1,999 to $3,199. The internet is already bending it.
Apple unveiled the iPhone Duo on Wednesday, the first launch under new CEO John Ternus, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro line.

A 5.4-inch cover screen opens like a book to 7.6 inches. $1,999 for 256GB, up to $3,199 for 2TB. Preorders open 16 October, shipping 23 October, in star white and night sky.

iPhone 18 Pro is $1,199 and Pro Max $1,299, $100 above last year, on the A20 chip and on sale 12 September. AirPods 5 are $129 and the new Apple Watch starts at $399, both on 18 September.

The biggest rooms are not reviews: a Reddit user recreating the Duo unfold animation on a Galaxy Z Fold 8 (6.3M views), a roundup of stunts with demo units (3.2M) and a hinge maths post estimating 22,000 unfolds a year (1.8M).
