Sen. Roger Marshall and Rev. Adam Hamilton debated Saturday at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson. The crowd drowned out Marshall from his opening statement.

What drew the boos
Tariffs, which Marshall said are working, and his debt collection as an OB-GYN, when he sued about 700 patients and called it common business practice. Chants of 'You don't live here' and 'Shame on you'.
The rules question
No audience rules were set. Replies note that State Fair debates have always let both campaigns pack the bleachers, so this reads as a recruiting failure too.
What Hamilton said
He hit Marshall on tariffs, Iran and healthcare cuts, and said courage is standing up to your own president. Both fielded questions about out-of-state homes.
